Bricks
Most Bulembu homes are brick construction and to restore these homes requires numerous bricks. Old or damaged walls are replaced in order to ensure these homes serve each family for decades into the future.

Screws you say? Rarely thought of as important, but screws and other hardware are critically essential to the restoration of Bulembu.

Imagine your home without windows. Each Child Care home is designed and rebuilt with 6 window units allowing fresh air and light into the home.

Beds (with mattresses)
For many children in Swaziland a bed is a luxury. If they do have access to a bed, it is often shared with as many as 8 other kids. Your donation equips a Child Care home with a bed and bed linens a single child can call their own.

Most homes in Bulembu have either no electricity, or wiring that is so outdated it is considered a hazard. Each restored Child Care home has a new electrical system installed providing the modern conveniences we often take for granted, like light at night.

Roof
A Child Care home is more than just a roof over a child's head. At the same time, a home is not much without a roof. Many of the roofs in Bulembu are broken down and need to be replaced.
